MoradaYDU, more than an ecological house, it’s a family’s life project that embraces the concept of sustainability, integrating solutions, habits, and purposes that challenge standardized market models while inspiring society.
A broad repertoire of bioclimatic and bioecological techniques combined with sustainable materials and construction systems ensures comfort and well-being through passive means (zero energy).
What is it?
We left the megacity and chose the countryside.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
ECONOMIC
HUMAN
ENVIRONMENTAL
SUSTAINABILITY is the intersection or equitable encounter between the three pillars, Environmental, Human and Economic, in everything we produce or do.
Also known as the Triple Bottom Line (John Elkington, 1994), this model illustrates the ideal mediation between the performances of the three dimensions to enable sustainable development.
Utopian?
MoradaYDU is proof that we can seek this balance.

Environmental Pillar
'Life' encompasses the integral whole of everything that composes and sustains it. Sustainable architecture thus becomes a systemic, inclusive, and mindful composition, focused on the great challenge of eco-effectively supporting life, never harming it.

Yara Santucci Barreto
Hello, I'm Yara, an architect and landscaper, a sustainability specialist and consultant in these areas at CEDRO Sustentabilidade e Execuções. In my work as an activist architect, I encourage people to renew their perspective, their thinking and their actions to generate positive impacts on people's lives and the planet.
I am the author of the MoradaYDU project and a resident owner.
Built between 2019 and 2021, it has been recognized as a reference in sustainability and brings together dozens of resources in passive comfort, bioclimatics, biophilia, health, bioecological sanitation, reduction of consumption, maintenance and waste, use of renewable sources, recycled, recyclable and discarded materials. , recycling and upcycling, transformative environmental and social inclusion - throughout the executive process and post-occupation.
The project promotes the restoration of the individual's relationship with the community and nature, where living shares space with fauna, flora and society.
Functionality, simplicity, durability, low maintenance - with comfort, inventiveness and design - are precepts that I adopt in projects.
